Once you have captured your images you will go into XVView to view and edit the images.
View
Locate the XV View tab at the top of your screen in Open Dental and click into that tab.

Search for your patient and click View to go into their file.

Click on the mount you want to view.

Zoom in and out two ways: Use the button on the left of the screen or with your mouse.

Click the “Center” button to return to the mount image center 
Enhance Series
To enhance the series of images click on “Enhance Series” on the right of your screen. Note: this option enhances the entire series and not just one image.

Click “Auto” in Enhance Series to make the default auto enhancement.

Click “Custom” in Enhance Series to view a list of possible enhancements to the right of your screen

Click “Remove” in Enhance Series to remove all enhancements to the series.

Enhance Individual Image
While in the series you are viewing, click on the image you want to make edits/view/enhance so it has a white box around it and the lower toolbar appears.

“Transform” - Rotate or flip the image

“B/C/G” to adjust brightness, contrast and gamma. + or - to adjust

“Spot” to highlight an area with a brighter area. You will have to click the + size button several times to get it to appear. Then you can adjust the spotlight size with + or - size. You can also adjust brightness with + or - strength.

“Spot Magnify” to magnify the image

Enhance for additional enhancement options

Label for additional panel of tools that will allow you to annotate, draw, add layers and make other edits

Toolbar to the right of the screen will allow you to print, export and share the image.

The “Edit” button on the right side of the screen will allow you to modify the tooth number and make notes about the image.

If you find you need to take other images to add to the patient file - close out of XVView and back into XVCapture.
