There's a bit of prep to activate your multiple MDP accounts and sync passwords across. It's important to complete the steps below in the order listed.
UKG - Make sure to activate your UKG (time clock) account first by going to https://n32.ultipro.com – this URL is important. The sign in for UKG does not sync with any other account. If you download the UKG app on your phone, the access code is MDP1979.
Gmail - new team members should go to https://www.gmail.com and sign in with their new [firstname.lastname]@mdpweb.net address, using the temporary password provided by your HR partner.
2 step verification - The URL to sign up for is https://myaccount.google.com/signinoptions/twosv. New team members have 14 days from their UKG "hire date" to register for 2 step verification. We recommend doing so immediately after activating Gmail. If you fail to sign up before 14 days have passed you will be locked out of Gmail and MDP Central.
MDP Central - Once Gmail is active, sign into https://www.mdpcentral.com and make sure you can access the Smile Spot. MDP Reporting may not be available for up to 24 hours after activating your MDP Central account.
(After 24 hours) Create Universal password - After activating MDP Central, please go to the change password link. This new password syncs across Gmail, MDP Central, Open Dental and other MDP systems. Until you’ve done this, you will not be able to sign into Open Dental or Central Manager.
Please note new team members cannot perform Step 5 for 24 hours after their UKG start date due to overnight automation needing to complete.
After creating your Universal password, please proceed to the Google Workspace overview deck.
